We exist on behalf of our members – hospitals and health systems nationwide who have joined us in our journey toward plug-and-play interoperability for healthcare. Their voice – the voice of the customer that uses medical technologies – has long been missing from the conversation. The C-suite commitment of our membership illustrates the strategic importance of our cause.
Our founding members represent some of the nation’s premier health systems and reflect different realities – for-profit, not-for-profit, academic, public. They are unified, however, by their desire to reimagine how information is shared in the healthcare marketplace. Through the combination of demand for interoperability and a lab to address shared technical challenges, they will compel change to how health information flows – thus transforming how we provide care in this country.
